독일에서 기장으로 파송된 선교사로 오랜세월 동안 교회와 총회를 섬겼던 도로띠아 목사가 지난 9월 제98회 총회에 초청되어 교회들과 기관들을 방문하고 지인들을 만날 수 있는 기회를 가질 수 있었음에 감사하여 보내온 편지이다.

Dear Bae Tae-Jin Chongmunim,
I send you warmest greetings! Three weeks have already passed since I left Korea and it is high time to write to you. I suppose that by now most of the visitors who participated in the General Assembly of WCC may have left also. However, I know that you have had a very hard and busy time. Hopefully your health is good inspite of these extreme challenges!
As far as I am concerned, I returned to Germany safely and in good health. My mind and thoughts and heart are still filled with overwhelming experiences. I am deeply grateful for all the love, warmness and great hospitality that I received from you and your wife, from all the friends that I was able to meet and for all the loving care that was given to me during my whole stay in Korea. Thank you, dear Bae Tae-Jin Chongmunim, from the bottom of my heart! I will never forget and praise the Lord for this precious experience! May I ask you to share my words of thanks with your dear wife and with all the staff members in your Office! If there is a chance please give my thanks and appreciation also to the Moderator of PROK.
Just a few days ago I heard from Rev. Reichel that you are planning to participate in the EMS Mission Council. Wonderful! This will be appreciated very much, so I heard from Juergen Reichel and Lutz Drescher. If ever possible please try to give me a phone call just to share a few words. I am sure Lutz will be happy to help.
I will keep you in my thougths and prayers asking for God's grace and blessings upon you and your beloved people and country.
